IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The following information pertains to the 2025 South Florida Fair which took place January 17- February 2, 2025.

Know Before You Go

We support a safe family friendly environment. For your safety, and to help protect our valued guests, the South Florida Fair conducts searches of bags at our entrance, as a condition of entry onto the fairgrounds.

EXPECT TO WALK THROUGH METAL DETECTORS AND/OR WANDS, SO EMPTY YOUR PERSON OF METAL OBJECTS.

The South Florida Fair DOES NOT allow the following items to be brought onto the fairgrounds:

  • 1. Illegal firearms/weapons; Armas Ilegales
  • 2. Explosive devices/fireworks; Fuegos Artificiales/Bengalas/Explosivos
  • 3. Alcoholic beverages; Bebidas alcolicas
  • 4. Selfie sticks; Palos de "selfie"
  • 5. Drones; drones
  • 6. Any other item deemed to be a danger to others; culaquier otro producto o implemento que pueda causar daño a otros.
As added safety measures, the Fair has implemented the following policies:

MINOR POLICY

BE ADVISED! On Friday starting at 7 p.m. and Saturday nights beginning at 5 p.m., all guests under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult guardian 21 or older with ID when entering the Fair (maximum of four minors per guardian). Purchase of admission AND a ride wristband are required for entry for guests ages 11-17.

BAG POLICY

Bags brought to the Fair must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags (maximum size of 12” x 6” x 12”) or small clutch bags of a maximum size of 6” x 9”. Clutch bag does not need to be clear.

GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT

The South Florida Fair is a family-friendly fair and maintains a Code of Conduct all guests are expected to follow. Conduct deemed by the South Florida Fair to be inappropriate for the peace and good order of the fair, guests, and stakeholders, and which may adversely affect the safety of others is not permitted. Anyone who violates the Guest Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without a refund.

In addition to the South Florida Fair Guest Code of Conduct, guests are expected to comply with Fairs policies, rules and instructions posted or otherwise listed, as well as all local, state and federal laws.

We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Code of Conduct policies include, but are not limited to:

  • Guests should not use profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures towards other guests and stakeholders.
  • Line jumping is prohibited. Line breaking, including leaving and re-entering a line for any reason or place holding in line is prohibited. Guests who choose to leave a line for any reason may not return to the same spot and must re-enter at the end of the line. Guests are not permitted to save spots for other guests.
  • GoPro cameras are NOT allowed on rides.
  • Guests are prohibited from entering restricted and backstage areas.
  • There is an inherent risk in participating in any amusement ride. We expect riders to exercise good judgement and act in a responsible manner.
  • Guests must also obey all oral and written warnings and properly use the ride safety equipment provided.
  • All guests and their belongings entering the South Florida Fair are subject to protective screening and/or search for prohibited items, unlawful firearms/weapons, explosive devices, fireworks, selfie sticks, drones, alcoholic beverages, narcotics, or any other unlawful items, or other items deemed to be a danger to others.
  • Bottles, cans, coolers, and picnic baskets are not permitted to be brought into the fairgrounds.
  • Ski Masks on a Guest’s head, person, or in carried in a bag are prohibited.
  • Loitering is prohibited.
  • No pets, except service animals permitted by the Americans with Disabilities Act .
  • Guests must follow instructions of law enforcement, staff, and security personnel .

Any guest not in compliance with the code of conduct will be asked to leave and/or be removed from the Fairgrounds.

All fairgoers must have a ticket or an ID Badge to enter the Fairgrounds. Entering the Fairgrounds by any means other than a designated magnetometer and turnstile is strictly prohibited.

The South Florida Fair is not responsible for and assumes no liability arising from fire, theft, damage to, or loss of vehicle, or any article left inside a vehicle for persons parked on ANY South Florida Fair parking lot. Please lock your car.

Guests entering the South Florida Fair grant unrestricted rights and license to promoters, facility management and all other entities associated with South Florida Fair or their respective agents, to use guests’ likeness in any broadcast, telecast, photograph taken or other transmission or reproduction in connection with the event.

Guests are encouraged to report any violations of the Guest Code of Conduct, or suspicious activity, to the nearest South Florida Fair staff member or law enforcement.
