Audition Guide:
1. Read Rules below and determine what talent you'd like to audition and compete for
2. Record a video of your talent (See Video Guidelines below)
3. Fill out the below form in its entirety
4. Submit form
Application deadline is Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
Selected applicants will be notified by December 16, 2024 and are required to be on site by noon on Sunday, January 19, 2024. Keep in mind traffic for the fair on weekends can be heavy and delay your arrival 2 hours approximately. Please plan accordingly. Contestants arriving after 12:00 p.m. will be disqualified.
All applicants will be given 1 chaperone ticket.

Rules:
- Talents may include (but not limited to) singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, juggling. NO LIP-SYNCHING
- Submissions for auditions must be exact music that will be used during competition.
- Costumes must be appropriate for all age groups. This is a community event
- NO profanity or vulgar lyrics in any vocal performance, dance music, comedy or skit.
- NO alcohol, tobacco, or drug advertisement are to be show on clothing.
- NO pyrotechnics, open flames or props that resemble dangerous materials, or any other dangerous additions will be allowed.
- Performers that receive more than 30% of their income from their talent are not permitted to enter.
- South Florida Fair will provide professional sound and lighting equipment on the K&M Electric Community Stage. All music for performances must be downloaded on a flash drive and submitted to Kayla Cawley at the Fairgrounds admin office prior to January 10th.
- All acts will be a maximum of 4 minutes in length for competition during the fair. Contestants exceeding the time frame will be disqualified.
- Judging will be done using a scorecard to assist in keeping decisions as objective as possible. The decision of the judges is final.
Video Guidelines:
- The recommended length for all videos is a minimum of 3 minutes to 5 minutes maximum. Videos exceeding 5 minutes will not be accepted.
- Bright or natural light is best; avoid backlight.
- Be mindful of your surroundings. We recommend a plain, solid background that is free from objects or clutter.
- Video submissions must be submitted prior to deadline.
