Sell-a-Bration of Champions Youth Livestock Market Auction

The highlight of the market program for the youth exhibitors at the South Florida Fair is the Sell-a-Bration of Champions Youth Livestock Market Auction on the first Saturday of the Fair. Countless hours have been spent feeding, training, conditioning, and grooming animals for this event. The ultimate reward of rearing any livestock is the price garnered at the auction. The Fair’s auction is the market for our youth exhibitors participating in the program. All the animals crossing the auction block are raised with the utmost care and attention.

The success of this event is determined not only by exhibitors, but by the participation and enthusiasm of the supporters purchasing animals at this terminal market auction. The South Florida Fair always welcomes new buyers to support our exhibitors. Purchasing an animal through the Fair is a win-win for the exhibitor and the supporters. Market Program participants learn life and business skills, and the purchaser benefits from excellent cuts of meat, or fresh eggs.

Steers will be sold first by the pound, followed by pullets by the pen of three, and hogs will round out the auction, being sold by the head.

January 18, 2025 is the Sell-a-Bration of Champions Your Livestock Market Auction at the South Florida Fair. This is a terminal market auction for all steer and hog purchases.

The auction kicks off at 3 p.m. in the Farm Credit Show Arena with steers selling first by the pound, then pullets, then hogs selling by the head.

Buyers can pre-register for the auction by completing and signing the attached registration form. The form is NOT accepted unless all required information is completed and returned by noon Wednesday, January 15, 2025 to info@southfloridafair.com

On-line bidders/buyers can also make purchases on-line through www.cattleinmotion.com by registering 24 hours prior to the start of the auction. The Sell-a-Bration of Champions Youth Livestock Market Auction at the South Florida Fair is a terminal market auction for all steers and hogs purchased on January 18, 2025. Payment for the on-line purchases is not collected by Cattle in Motion, but by the Fair. Please expect a call sale night or the next day to collect payment information by the AGriBusiness Team.

All animals purchased at the auction will be processed by the Fair’s contracted services provider.
