 Rules:
Minors: All contestants under the age of 18 years of age will need to
have a parent or guardian sign a consent form to participate.
Animal Acts: (Additional paperwork required)
All acts with animals must complete the “Animal Questionnaire” and
provide immunization papers before an audition date and time are scheduled. An
audition will be held at producer’s discretion. Producer can refuse an
audition.
All animals will be transported in a Crate for auditions and performance
competition at the South Florida
Fair. Trainers will keep
animals in crates while on the grounds during the auditions and performance
competition. Trainers will be given a location away from other acts to rehearse
with his/her animals and be kept on a leash at all times and in the trainers/owners
control while on the property. Trainers/Owners will be asked to provide all updated
health documentation for all animals participating in
this event.
Physical or Dangerous Stunts: (Additional paperwork required) Anyone
performing physical and / or dangerous stunts must provide the additional paperwork
before an audition date and time is scheduled or producer can refuse an audition.
This paperwork needs to be filled out by a doctor.
All winners consent to the use of his/her name, voice, photographs (still, motion,
or video) and basic personal information for promotional purposes in any medium
selected by the South Florida Fair and any and all sponsors. Winners and all
entrants release the South Florida Fair, its Sponsors, Trustees, Directors, employees
and agents including, without limitation, advertising and promotional agencies,
from any liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to awarding, receipt,
possession, use/misuse of prize.
Employees, Trustees and Directors of the South
Florida Fair, advertising and promoting agencies, sponsors and their immediate
family members and/or those living in the same household are ineligible to compete.
All winners will be responsible for federal, state and local taxes, sales taxes
and any other fees that the prize may incur. Contestant competes in age bracket
at time of contest. A group competes in the age bracket of the oldest member.
Contestant may compete in one category only. No performers can be added after
the audition process.
Auditions are closed to everyone except auditioners and Talent staff.
