OTHER RULES AND REGULATIONS

JUDGING: This will be done by people in the music and entertainment industry. Participants will be judged on originality, showmanship, vocal quality and presentation, professionalism and overall presence and appeal. The decisions of the judges are final.

PRIZES: First place prize is $1,000.00 and may also include sponsored goods and gifts. Winners may also be featured on air, promoted at area events and be featured as a Showcase Performer at the South Florida Fair the following year.

OTHER: All winners must consent to the use of their name, voice, photographs (still, motion, or video) and basic personal information for promotional purposes in any medium selected by the South Florida Fair and its sponsors. Winners and all entrants release the South Florida Fair, its sponsors, Trustees, Directors, employees and agents including, without limitation, advertising and promotional agencies, from any liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use/misuse of prizes. Employees, Trustees and Directors of the South Florida Fair, advertising and promoting agencies, sponsors and their immediate family members and /or those living in the same household are ineligible to compete. All winners will be responsible for federal, state, and local taxes, sales taxes, and any other fees that the prize may incur.
