1.- Do we have to perform the same song or songs at the competition
as we performed for auditions?
No.

Yes. You can sing a medley or grouping of different songs

you go over that time limit, your scores will be lowered.
3.- What type of music should we perform?
We are looking for Blues, Jazz, Rock, Rap, or Pop.
4.- Can I audition more than once?
No. Since we have so many people auditioning, we cannot accommodate
more than one audition per band each year. We want everyone
to have the opportunity to audition.
5.- What happens after the audition?
All talent is reviewed by the producer, who then begins the
task of formulating the talent selection over the next few
weeks.
6.- When will we be notified if we have been selected?
You will be notified by mail if you did or did not make the
cut by December 15th . You will receive a letter which will
include your performance day and time, check in information,
directions, etc.
7.- How are the auditions scheduled?
You will be given a 1 hour block of time to check in and will
be taken on a first come/first served basis. Groups will need
to be checked in by the director only after all participants
have arrived All auditioners are to come at their assigned
times only and will not be taken if you arrive early.
8.- How long will we be at the audition?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time,
so we can transition all of our talent in the time scheduled.
We try to maintain our scheduled time during your one hour
time slot, however sometimes there is a back-up due to technical
difficulties, load-in and out of bands, etc., so please come
prepared to read, listen to music, etc.
9.- Can our parents come into the audition with us?
No. This is a closed audition and open only for the talent.
Talent under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or
guardian at check in time, and may stay in waiting area during
the audition.

No. All cameras, videorecorders or taping devices are strictly
prohibited.
