1. All entries must be made on official entry forms
furnished. Entry Deadline is December 1, 2007 postmark
or when the limit of 750 birds is reached.

2. On Fair registration forms, each bird must be listed individually. Incorrect
forms may be disqualified.
3. The Open Poultry Show will include exhibitors 19 years of age and up. The
Youth Show will include exhibitors
5 through 18 years of age. Youth exhibitors are expected to care for their birds.
4. All entries must be properly leg-banded and numbers correctly recorded on
entry forms before cage assignments are made. (Leg bands will be available at
the Fairgrounds on the
day of check-in at a small charge).
5. All birds must be owned by the exhibitor for at least 90 days prior to the
Fair and each exhibitor must CHECK IN, BAND AND COOP their own birds. NO DROP
OFFS WILL BE ALLOWED!
6. Check in for exhibitors will be from 12:00pm until 7:00 p.m. on THURSDAY,
JANUARY 17, 2008. Birds may be removed between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday,February
3rd on a rotating
basis.
7. We suggest you dust your birds for mites with 5% Sevin or 5% Bug-Be-Gone prior
to check-in day.
8. All entries will be entered as singles in the following classes:
CLASS A COCK: Male bird 12 months of age or older.
CLASS B COCKEREL: Male bird under 12 months of age.
CLASS C HEN: Female bird 12 months of age or older.
CLASS D PULLET: Female bird under 12 months of age.
CLASS E EXOTIC FOWL: Turkeys, Peacocks, Pheasants, Guineas - all ages.
CLASS F WATERFOWL: Ducks, Geese, all ages.
CLASS G PIGEONS & DOVES: (Pigeons limited to first 150 birds-see line 12).
9. The Fair will not be responsible for any loss but will give every exhibit
careful attention.
10. SHOW ONLY FANCY OR BEST PRODUCING BIRDS. The show superintendent may decline
any entries he feels should not be shown. BIRDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THEY
ARE IN HEALTHY CONDITION.
11. There will be NO medicating of birds. If illness appears during the course
of the Fair, the birds must be removed from the tent.
12. Special exhibits or exhibits requiring special cages should arrange with
the show secretary at the time registration forms are due.
13. Each exhibitor may enter up to but not more that 30 birds or 15 cages, whichever
is lower with a 30 bird per family/or household maximum youth and open combined.
14. Birds will be judged on the Danish System. Each bird is judged on its own
merit.
15. Failure to abide by these rules may result in the loss of ribbons and/or
premiums.
16. Individuals will not be allowed to show the same bird in Youth and Open Shows.
17. ALL BIRDS REMOVED FROM THE GROUNDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RELEASE FROM
THE TENT SUPERINTENDENT.
18. Birds may only be removed from cages with permission of Show Superintendent.
19. Early removal of exhibits shall result in loss of ribbons, premiums and future
showing privileges.
20. No instances of unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated. It can result
in the loss of premiums and awards.
21. Get your reservations in early. There is a 750 bird limit.

You must have a Game Bird Farm permit for all Game
Birds shown. Pigeons & Rock Doves need no permits.
Copies must be submitted with registration. All permit
information is listed on back of entry form.

NOTICE:
You will no longer be able to use CARDBOARD BOXES for
transporting poultry to and from the Fair. Use
only WIRE CAGES, or approved pet carriers.
On the middle Sunday, January 21, you may change out
your Birds. Birds leaving must be replaced with birds
of equal quality. Birds incoming must have been tested,
so take advantage of our Pre-Test program.

This book is intended for Fair Exhibitors, not those
only attending the Fair. Current information about
